A team of materials scientists and molecular biologists
Founded in 2019 as a spin-out of the Cambridge Nanolab, BBlueBio now runs 7 co-development programmes from a 2,400 m² research and GMP facility in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Delivery is the bottleneck of modern medicine
Genomics gave the field an enormous library of validated targets. What limits treatment today is rarely knowing what to change inside a cell — it is getting an active molecule there intact, at the right concentration, without harming everything on the way. That is the single problem we work on.
Evidence before narrative
We publish negative results internally with the same rigour as positive ones. A programme advances on data, not on momentum.
Built, not outsourced
Formulation, characterisation and manufacturing sit under one roof so knowledge compounds instead of leaking across vendors.
Patients set the deadline
Speed matters, but only the kind that survives regulatory scrutiny. We design for the filing from the first experiment.

We hire scientists who like unsolved problems
Open roles across formulation chemistry, analytical development, in-vivo pharmacology and process engineering. Send a CV and a short note about the problem you most want to work on.
Let's engineer the next delivery breakthrough together
We co-develop nanocarrier and biosensing programs with pharma, biotech and academic groups — from target selection through GMP supply.
