BB-101 and BB-207 enter IND-enabling toxicology

Two lead programmes have completed preclinical efficacy packages and begun the GLP toxicology studies required for regulatory filing.

Both programmes cleared their internal efficacy gates on schedule. BB-101, our pH-responsive siRNA carrier for solid tumours, and BB-207, the thermostable self-amplifying RNA platform, have now entered GLP toxicology.

The manufacturing team has concurrently locked the clinical-scale process parameters, so the toxicology lots and the intended clinical lots are produced on the same continuous-flow line.

GMP suite expansion adds 50 L continuous-flow capacity

The Cambridge facility extension more than doubles clinical supply capacity while holding polydispersity below 0.09 at every scale.

The expanded suite adds a second staggered herringbone micromixer line rated to 50 L per batch, alongside in-line dynamic light scattering for real-time size feedback.

Qualification batches confirmed size distribution equivalence between the 5 mL development scale and the new clinical scale — the central assumption behind our scale-independent formulation strategy.

New co-development agreement in oncology

A multi-year agreement will pair our stromal-penetrating carrier with a partner's validated oncology payload.

The programme will run from feasibility through preclinical validation under shared IP terms, with joint governance reviewing progress each quarter.

Work begins with receptor mapping in the partner's disease models, followed by carrier screening against our BrilliantCore™ library.
